DOVER, Del. – A New York man is now behind bars after police say he committed several bank robberies across Delaware.

On July 12th, 39-year-old Calvin Samuels of Valley Stream, N.Y. was arrested in connection to a Wells Fargo Bank Robbery in Newark. He was linked by police to a series of bank robberies throughout the First State.

One of those bank robberies was a May 28th Wells Fargo robbery in Dover. Police say Samuels had obtained warrants for second degree robbery, and wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony in that case.

Samuels will be charged at a later time, according to police. He is currently being held on $108,000 bond at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in Wilmington.
