Queen Anne’s Co. man charged with threat of mass violence following social media posts
CHURCH HILL, Md. – A Queen Anne’s County man has been charged after police say he made threats on social media.
Just before 9 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to 124 Price Station Road regarding social media posts of a shooting threat against Salisbury University, with the suspect threatening to harm himself as well.
The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Harold Fink III, was located at his residence and taken into custody following a thorough investigation. Upon learning of the threats, Salisbury University and the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office were contacted and all agencies worked together to ensure there was no threat to the public.
Fink has been charged with threat of mass violence and is currently in custody.
