Teens arrested following Orbeez gun shooting in Easton
EASTON, Md. – An Easton teen and Florida teen are facing charges after a water pellet gun shooting incident.
Easton Police say on Sunday, officers responded to a Giant Grocery Store parking lot, after a citizen complained of being shot by an Airsoft gun. The victim told police he was shot by passengers in a white Kia as he was walking into the store. The victim also provided a Florida license plate number for the vehicle.
When officers arrived, they found the vehicle driving through the parking lot, with five occupants inside. Police conducted a traffic stop, finding an Orbeez gun, similar to an Airsoft gun, in the passenger compartment. The victim identified 19-year-old Aviad Tarique Naw’kwan Moore of Summerfield, Fl. and 18-year-old Tucker Dylan Stacey Eason of Easton as the shooters.
Moore and Eason were arrested. A further search of their vehicle revealed a large container of Orbeez beads in the passenger compartment. In the trunk, police found a large container of BBs, paintballs, and a paintball gun.
Easton Police say the investigation continues, as similar incidents have recently unfolded, where both subjects were suspects. Both subjects are being held at Talbot County Detention Center.
