“Craft Beer For A Cause:” Burnish Beer Co. coming together to support team member with fundraiser

SALISBURY, Md.- Burnish Beer Company in Salisbury needs your help to raise money for one of their team members.

Co-owner of Burnish Beer Company Randy Mills told 47ABC that one of their employees received very serious medical expenses, and to help pay for them the brewery is hosting “Craft Beer For A Cause” on Wednesday. Local businesses are donating items for a silent auction. There will also be music and specials on food and drinks. All proceeds will go to helping their friend.

“We’re hoping that people will remember that sense of community and carry that forward,” Mills said. “We’ve always tried to stick to this is our family, we want to treat people that work with us like they are family and like I said not refer to them as working for us but working with us.”

The event goes on from 5 p.m. to close. If you can’t make it but still want to donate, they will be taking donations all throughout the day.
