*** Winter Weather Advisory in effect for northern Delmarva from late tonight through Sunday afternoon ***

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with rain arriving late while changing to a wintry mix and snow late overnight. The wintry mix will continue to change to snow over southern areas throughout Sunday morning while snow continues over the northern half. The timing of when the snow exits on Delmarva will be from mid to late afternoon towards the north to the early to mid evening in southern locations. Snowfall amounts will range from 0.5″-1″ over the southern half to 1″-2″ for most of northern Delmarva, with a few isolated spots over 2″. Highs will be in the low to mid 30s throughout the day with a northerly wind between 10-15 mph.

A few snow showers are possible early on Sunday night especially over southern Delmarva, followed by partly cloudy skies and lows in the upper 10s to low 20s. Valentine’s Day will be cold, mostly sunny and slightly breezy, in the low 30s. Temperatures will be cool on Tuesday in the low 40s, under sunny skies. Highs on Monday will soar into the mid 50s, with mostly sunny skies.

Rain arrives late on Thursday, under mostly cloudy skies and highs in the low to mid 60s. The rain continues on Thursday night and exits early on Friday, setting up for partly sunny skies and highs in the low 50s. Saturday will be cool in the mid 40s, with sunny skies.
