SBY man arrested for alleged assault

On Sunday, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested a man following an allegation of assault.
According to the report, the victim told the deputy that Donald Lee Bowen, 21, of Salisbury, woke him up because he needed a ride to see his bail bondsman. The victim continued by explaining that Bowen became upset because they were apparently taking too long to get ready. Bowen then allegedly assaulted the victim and pushed him into a wall face first. The deputy reported to have seen signs of injury on the victim that matched this account.
Bowen was arrested and taken to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance where he was charged with assault second degree, the Commissioner detained Bowen in the Detention Center in lieu of $10,000 bond.
