First “Stuff a Boat Food Drive” coming to Lewes November 13

LEWES, Del.- Nautical Academics Captain School and Coldwell Banker Resort Realty in are putting on a Stuff A Boat Food Drive.

The event will take place on November 13th at Coldwell Banker Resort Realty in Lewes. People will be able to bring non-perishable food items to the event while enjoying the food trucks, music, vendors, and crafts.

We’re told the two businesses came together to put on the event because they realize people are in need of help.

“This is the first year and we’re hoping that it takes off and we can do it for many many years,” Breanna Tumas, who works for marketing at Nautical Academics and is a realtor at Coldwell, said. “We see that there’s a lot of hungry people and what better way to feed someones soul than to get food for Thanksgiving.”

The food donations will be given to the Shepherd’s Office in Georgetown.

The event will go from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
