Abby Mace hits two home runs to help Smyrna win state chamoinship

The Smyrna softball team defeated Appo 16-7 in the DIAA state championship game this afternoon.

It was a busy scene at the Lower Sussed Little League field this afternoon, the sight of the 2018 DIAA softball state champoinship between the Smyrna Eagles and the Appoquinimink Jaguars. Its been 8 years since the last time the Eagles appeared in the state finals.
