Md. voters still have time to register for June’s Gubernatorial Primary Election

There's still time to register to vote if you are a Maryland residents who wants to vote in the upcoming Gubernatorial Primary Election.

If all of the requirements are met, a Maryland resident can register or update their registration at an early voting center. To register and vote during early voting, a resident can go to an early voting center in the county where he or she lives, and bring a document proving residency. 

The documents that prove residency include a valid driver's license, ID card, paycheck, bank statement, utility bill or other government document with the individual's name and current address.

There are 78 early voting centers in Maryland and each center will be open from 10 AM to 8 PM on Thursday, June 14th through Thursday, June 21st. Those centers are also open on Saturday and Sunday during that time frame.

To vote early, go to a location in your county: 

  • For the 2018 Primary Election: Thursday, June 14th through Thursday, June 21st between 10 am and 8 pm
  • For the 2018 General Election: Thursday, October 25th through Thursday, November 1st  between 10 am and 8 pm

If you vote early, you cannot vote on election day or by absentee ballot. An *(asterisk) beside a center indicates an additional new center or a new center that replaced a center used in the 2016 elections.
