Bridgeville Man Arrested for Producing, Distributing Child Pornography

BRIDGEVILLE, Del. – The U.S. Department of Justice District of Delaware has announced charges against a Bridgeville man for the production and distribution of child pornography.

Thirty-year-old Thomas Twilley is charged in a criminal complaint with one count of production of child pornography and one count of distribution of child pornography. If convicted, Twilley faces a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in prison.

According to court documents, Twilley sexually abused a child, took sexually explicit photos of the child, and shared the photos with an administrator of a child sexual abuse material, or CSAM, network online. Law enforcement estimates the victim was a young child when the material was produced.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Claudia L. Pare is prosecuting the case.
