Zaxby’s Coming to Route 13 in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – Popular fast food chicken chain Zaxby’s is set to come to Route 13 in Salisbury.

Wicomico County Executive Julie Giordano made the announcement on Wednesday morning, saying the new restaurant will be located just before the entrance to the municipal limits of the City of Fruitland. The property was once home to Robinson Jewelers and is located next to Concord Pet Foods & Supplies.

“The addition of Zaxby’s demonstrates that national brands recognize the strength of our local economy and the tremendous growth opportunities available here,” Executive Giordano said. “Every new business investment creates jobs, expands consumer choice, and strengthens our tax base. We are excited to welcome Zaxby’s to Wicomico County.”

Founded in Georgia in 1990, Zaxby’s has grown to hundreds of locations across the United States. The chain is most known for their chicken dishes, including tenders and wings, along with a wide selection of signature sauces.
