Two Arrested Following Assault, Robbery Investigation in Princess Anne

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – The Princess Anne Police Department (PAPD) has arrested two individuals in connection with an assault and robbery investigation conducted on Memorial Day.

Police have arrested 20-year-old Tileah Miller on Princess Anne and 20-year-old Joseph Pointdujour of Salisbury on charges of first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, and related charges. Miller is also charged with violating a protective order. Both suspects were transported to the Somerset County Detention Center where they are being held on no bond.

On Monday, May 25 at 10:18 p.m., officers responded to the area of Somerset Avenue and Mt. Vernon Road in reference to a reported violent physical altercation involving multiple individuals. Upon arrival on the scene, officers located two suspects matching witness descriptions within minutes. The suspects, later identified as Miller and Pointdujour, were taken into custody without incident.

During an incident investigation, officers determined that a victim had been assaulted and robbed. The victim reportedly sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. At this time, police say the victim is listed in stable condition, and that they were able to obtain evidence connected to the incident.
