May the Fourth be with you at Roadie Joe’s

Salisbury, Md. – Calling all Star Wars fans. Roadie Joes in Salisbury is getting creative with their menu for May the Fourth, a day claimed by fans of the blockbuster series.

The “Tauntaun Sampler” from Roadie Joe’s Bar & Grill

Roadie Joe’s is offering “Star Wars”-themed specials for May the Fourth, including dishes like a “Porg Wrap,” “Battle of Hoth Mac” and “The Tauntaun Sampler.” For Roadie Joe’s Bar & Grill Chef Daniel Burke, who grew up watching the Star Wars series, the day is an opportunity for him and his team to get creative.

“It’s nice to let myself and the cooks be able to, like, kind of have that culinary freedom to kind of play around and do something that they like and involve something else that they like as well,” Burke said. “So this is really cool. It’s always fun these days that pop up. We always try to find these, these fun days like this where we can be a little quirky and fun and play well, play with our food a little bit.”
