Wor-Wic offers new course for professional and family caregivers
WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – Wor-Wic Community College is offering a new course for caregivers.
The non-credit class is titled “The Joy of Creative Engagement: Finding Joy in Your Caregiving Journey”. It will convene on five Thursdays starting January 15th. Each class will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Room 300 of Fulton-Owen Hall on the school’s campus.
The course will be taught by Ilyana Kadushin, the executive director of nonprofit Stories Love Music. It is geared toward both professional and family caregivers. Participants will learn how music can be used as an emotional anchor and stress management tool. Along with her work with Stories Love Music, Kadushin has served as an adjunct faculty member at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
