Town of Pittsville working to address discolored water
PITTSVILLE, Md. – Residents in Pittsville are experiencing discolored water once again.
Tuesday, the Town of Pittsville stated on social media that the issue stemmed from its water treatment plant. Officials added that they have already received calls with complaints, and they are asking anyone else experiencing discolored water to contact them.
Town officials stated they are awaiting a debrief and update from Singh Operational Services, which operates the plant. Workers are troubleshooting the issue with contractors from the plant. Details on when service will return to normal have yet to be shared.
