Mason-Dixon Sports Complex to close to public for construction

DELMAR, Md. – Mason-Dixon Sports Complex will close to the public on Tuesday, October 7th, for phase one of construction on park development.

Crews will demolish fencing and existing structures. They will also reorient the fields, which will include site work and stormwater management. Walking paths will be installed, as well as new fencing, batting cages, and irrigation.

Phase 1 of the project is expected to be completed in spring 2026. Visitors are encouraged to visit Gordy Park while Mason-Dixon is closed. Gordy Park is located at 703 South Pennsylvania Avenue, Delmar, Md.
