Road work ahead for intersection in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Del. – DelDOT will soon begin a project to convert a two-way stop in Georgetown.

Starting on September 9th, crews will be on site working to change the intersection at Sycamore and Beaver Dam Branch Roads to an all-way stop control. Drivers can expect new signs and pavement markings when the work is complete.

Crews will work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the day, weather permitting. Flaggers will be on site to direct motorists, who are advised to drive carefully through the work zone.
