Bridgeville man dead after vehicle overturned in crash

BRIDGEVILLE, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal crash in Bridgeville.

Around 5:00 a.m. on July 12th, investigators say a Buick Century was speeding down Wilson Farm Road, approaching Cannon Road. The Buick went past a stop sign, and went off the road, rotated clockwise, hit a concrete barrier, and flipped over, according to police.

A 27-year-old Bridgeville man was identified as the driver, and was pronounced dead one scene. Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt. Cannon, Conrail, and Wilson Farm Roads were closed for about three and a half hours while the scene was investigated and cleared.
