Delaware State Police investigate drive-by shooting in Rodney Village
DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in the Rodney Village area of Dover.
Around 4:51 a.m. Saturday, troopers responded to a home on the 300 block of Samuel Paynter Drive for a report of shots fired. Investigators say a vehicle pulled up in front of the home before its occupants fired multiple gunshots and fled the area. No injuries were reported.
Investigators say the motive for the shooting remains unclear. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact police at 302-698-8521.
