Queen Anne’s Co. man wanted for attempted murder in Hartly

HARTLY, Del. – Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect wanted in a shooting investigation.

On March 31 at 11:19 p.m. troopers responded to Sherwood Forest Way in Hartly for a reported shooting. A 35-year-old man had been shot and taken to the Hartly Volunteer Fire Company. The victim was later taken by ambulance to the hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators are seeking 40-year-old Myreon Lindsey of Stevensville, Maryland. Police say he was visiting a woman when he forcefully entered the home. Lindsey is accused of getting into an argument and physical altercation with the victim before shooting him.

Lindsey is described as a Black male, approximately 6’3″ tall and weighing about 163 pounds. He is wanted for attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, first-degree home invasion and burglary, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
