UMES STEM educator Brad Hartle teaches Good Morning Delmarva an ocean current science experiment
WMDT—Recently, Jake and Jordie visited UMES, where STEM educator Brad Hartle showed them another kid-friendly science experiment.
This time, they learned more about how ocean currents work!
You can test out this activity using saltwater, freshwater, warm water, or cold water.
Hartle explains that different types of currents exist throughout the ocean and react differently to change.
You will need blood food coloring, warm water, ice cubes, and a large container.
