Annual Winefest kicks off in Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md.- The annual Ocean City Winefest is taking over the inlet.

The event features local and out-of-state wineries for everyone to sample from. There will also be live entertainment and Delmarva cuisine.

Ocean City Mayor, Rick Meehan, will be passing out beer samples at the festival on Saturday. He said he always looks forward to this event because it brings in droves of visitors.

“Winefest is a great opportunity for people to come, be downtown, be on the beach, [that’s] what everyone wants to do when they come to Ocean City. It’s an outdoor event, there’s plenty of wineries there to taste the different wines,” Mayor Meehan said.

The event will run from 11am-7pm tomorrow. To purchase tickets, you can visit www.Winefest.com
