Military tribute banners available in Princess Anne

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Princess Anne residents can now purchase a military tribute to their loved ones.

The banner will hang in the town center for everyone to see. It costs $99.00 and you can put your family members medals and pictures on them. The banner can honor veterans, active duty, reserve, and National Guard members.

Commissioner Shelley Johnson tells us more. “It’s not promised that they’re going to come back home and that we’re going to get them home in one piece, the way that they left. So, it’s very important that we honor the ones that are serving and the ones that have served. They keep the faith, they keep putting their families aside, they’re putting everyone before their own freedom, their own lives, and they’re out risking their lives,” said Commissioner Shelley Johnson, of Princess Anne, Maryland.
