MSP investigate early morning crash in Federalsburg
FEDERALSBURG, Md. – Maryland State Police are investigating a crash that happened early Monday morning in Federalsburg.
Around 6:40 a.m., troopers responded to a crash in the area of Route 318 and Pepper Road. Police say a 2014 Ram 2500 was traveling up the shoulder, as the driver attempted to pass several vehicles. It was then that police say the truck cashed into a 2016 Jeep Compass traveling on Route 318.
The driver of the Ram was airlifted to Shock Trauma in Baltimore for his injuries. The woman behind the wheel of the Jeep was also airlifted, but to Christiana Care in Delaware.
The crash remains under investigation.
