Princess Anne welcomes new business: Sisters With A Twist

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – In Princess Anne a new bakery opened Wednesday.

It’s called Sisters With A Twist and the business opened on Main Street. The bakery sells all the savory treats you can imagine including cinnamon buns, twisted island cakes, and bagels. We spoke with the owners, two cousins from the Jersey shore, hence the twist who say they’re excited for this new adventure.

They shared with us their plans to be successful in the area. “It seems to be growing so this is one of the places we wanted to be and once we found out this place was available. We got in here and start growing the community and helping the community as well,” said Co-Owner Amanda “AJ” Roth. “I just plan on hitting the road running and hope that everybody enjoys our treats,” said Co-Owner Wendy Penn.

Business owners say they will soon be hosting community functions and adding outdoor seating. The public will also have the option to rent their space.
