Chief Patrick Foley selected for Bethany Beach Police Department

 

BETHANY BEACH, Del. – Bethany Beach announcing that they’ve found a new Police Chief Patrick Foley.

He moved to the area in 2005 from Massachusetts. He started working for Bethany Beach PD in 2002.

Chief Foley graduated from Bridgewater State University with a bachelor’s in criminal justice and graduated from the Delaware State Police Academy in 2006. He says “I plan on implementing a safe, friendly atmosphere where people can have a stress-free visit and regain the police department’s trust, daily, with our officers. I take great pride in being a law enforcement officer, and I feel that resonates with other officers within the department. The agency has never been as unified in current day capacity and I plan on maintaining the friendships and bonds within the agency, and the community, while progressing towards the future.”
