Free tutoring classes available at the Newton Community Center
SALISBURY, Md. – A free program in Salisbury is set out to provide tutoring for students across all grade levels.
Salisbury University, Clarke Honors College students will be hosting tutoring sessions after school at the Newton Community Center. The SU tutors will assist students with a wide range of subjects. The sessions run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4:30 to 5:30 PM.
The city says this is to make easier access for locals. “We want to make it easy for kids to get help with their schoolwork, whether it be just extra help that they wanted to get ahead or homework help that they need throughout the week we just want to make it easy for them to access for the help that they need,” said Rachel Manning, Community Relations Manager for Housing and Development within the City of Salisbury.
