Ugly Pie serves up 300 chocolate pies for valentines day treat rush

SALISBURY, Md. –  Businesses across Salisbury are stocked up and ready for the last-minute Valentine’s gift rush.

The Ugly Pie in Salisbury baked up more than 300 mini chocolate pies as part of the set, selling flowers and more, looking to boost sales following a slow January.

“We always look forward to February getting here,” said Co-Owner Heather Hall. We try to make as many deals, and make things as cute as possible, to get people in here. We put hearts on everything. You know, we want people to think outside the box a little bit outside of the regular, you know, a regular box of chocolates.”

Hall tells us they were thankful for their new location, which allowed them to better meet those demands, and chef-up new items for special occasions. For those who may have missed out on Valentine’s Day, Ugly Pie will continue to sell the chocolate pies all week for any belated Valentine’s Day gift givers.
