Salisbury trash pickup woes fixed, normal schedule to return
SALISBURY, Md. – Trash pickup will return to normal operations in the City of Salisbury.
Friday, the city announced that the Department of Field Operations has successfully navigated its pickup deficit. The regular trash and recycling gathering schedule will begin once again following Martin Luther King Day on January 14th. Residents whose trash is normally picked up on Mondays, will have theirs gathered on Tuesday, January 15th.
“We would like to thank our residents for their patience and understanding during this trying time,” Director of Field Operations Mike Dryden said in a press release. “While we’d like to thank the town of Berlin for their assistance, we also want to point out that the hard work of our crews in this extraordinary challenge is most responsible for us getting back on track.”
Those with questions or concerns are encouraged to call the Department of Field Operations at 410-548-3177.
