DNREC looking for public comment following annual report
DELAWARE – DNREC is seeking public comment on their strategic plan and 2022 Annual Report to ensure clean water in the first state.
It’s designed to support water quality improvements through funding from the state’s Clean Water Act. DNREC says the input is important as this funding will touch every aspect of water quality, including infrastructure for drinking water, stormwater, and wastewater.
Changes that could end up coming to your own backyard. “To help us engage moving forward, type of things folks have interest in as well as if theres some glaring thing we missed, I want to make sure we account for that before we make this a final product,” said Shawn Garvin
The Delaware Clean Water Trust Oversight Committee’s public comment period will be open for 15 days. You can provide your input on the state’s website.
