Tax Deadline for Small businesses coming up

DELMARVA- For small businesses, or those receiving payments for dividends you have just under a month to file your Q4 earnings without late fees or interest from the IRS.
They must file their 4th quarter for 2023 on January 16th, the typical deadline was pushed up one day because of a federal holiday, and any mail postmarked after that date will be considered late.
Tax Expert for UHY Group Mark Welsh says that could mean fines and even interest added by the IRS.
“Clients forget they missed that third quarter, forgot all about it, whatever, and so sometimes they have to play catch up and get, you know, maybe make to make a combined payment like a third and fourth, it happens, so this is a good reminder that that that people have this coming up and they need to be aware of it.
