Crews battle house fire in Dagsboro

DAGSBORO, Del. – A weekend fire in Dagsboro has been ruled accidental.

Crews responded to the 24000 block of Nine Foot Road shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday.

State fire investigators were called to the scene to investigate the blaze, determining that it was caused by an electrical malfunction. The home was not occupied at the time of the fire, and there were no reported injuries.

Damage has been estimated at $350,000.
