Municipal Elections Info

SALISBURY, Md- With the Mayoral election in the City of Salisbury less than a day away the Wicomico County Board of Education is highlighting important information for voters before they go out to the polls Tuesday.

County elections officials are reminding residents that just because their address says Salisbury, does not mean that you are in the voting district.

Only residents in the areas marked in the district are eligible to vote, with voting locations being labeled on the voting cards eligible voters received upon registration.

The board of elections says those polling locations will open from 7 am to 7 pm and it is important voters, head to the correct one.

“In order for you to vote in your correct district, you need to go to the correct voting location that is assigned according to your polling place that is on your registered voter notification card, If you do have questions about your correct vote and district, you again can call,” said Dionne Chuch of the WCBOE.

The Board of Elections also wants to remind voters that anyone still waiting in line to vote will be able to cast their ballot past 7 pm during election day.
