GEORGETOWN, Del. –  The Brandywine Valley SPCA is ramping up for its biggest adoption event of the year. Their mega adoption day is bringing animals from across the U.S., to their locations in Dover and Georgetown.

The organization says some of the dogs up for adoption were facing certain deaths at other shelters. This year, they’re hoping to reach even more would-be adopters, and give 25 hundred animals a forever home.

“Our mega adoption event is being held at all of these participating locations on December 9th and 10th from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., we’re also offering an easy fast passes for some of our locations,’ says BVSCPA Communications Director Sara Smith.

The adoption fee is capped at 35 dollars per animal, including spaying, neutering, and vaccines.
