All hands on deck at The Ugly Pie as bakery attempts 900 pie Thanksgiving record

This Thanksgiving, the pie shop says they are looking to break their own record, by baking 900 pies for the holiday season, all of which have already been reserved.

The Owners say it’s their first Thanksgiving in their new location, with new equipment and new staff and they say they are thrilled with their team, and of course, the loyal customers who will be lining up to get their Thanksgiving fill.

“This year we are trying to hit the goal of 900 pies, which is a little bit more than last year. We felt comfortable with that number, especially with our new space. We are alive and doing well, my team has rocked it this year, our new employees have killed it, the the older veteran employees have really been showing them how to do things and keeping the ball rolling so my co-owner Heather and I can focus on what it takes to bake 900 pies,” said Co-Owner Shaina Bounds.

Bounds says the sales day will hopefully allow them to bring on new staff and make even greater use of their space.

She says after the holiday the shop will be closing until Tuesday the 28th to give their team a well-earned rest.
