UPDATE: 26-year-old shot and killed in Bridgeville, police investigating

BRIDGEVILLE, Del. – Police are investigating after a man was reportedly found dead on a roadway in Bridgeville Saturday afternoon.
Just after 3:30 p.m., troopers responded to the 21000 block of Mill Park Drive for a reported shooting, where they found a 26-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
Further investigation revealed that the victim was on Mill Park Drive when he began talking with a large group of people who were standing in the roadway. An unknown suspect allegedly shot the victim before the crown fled the scene.
There is no suspect information available at this time.
