Wor-Wic to host trick or treat event Thursday

SALISBURY, Md. – Halloween is fast approaching and Wor-Wic Community College is hosting an event for the whole family to enjoy.

Kids can come dressed in their costumes to collect some candy on treat street on campus. They can also check out a photo booth with Wicky the Dolphin and the school’s pathway programs. Staff will be dressing up too.

Wor-Wic officials say safety is a priority ensuring everyone has a good time. “Wor-Wic is well lit. We have tour guides stationed all throughout the event to make sure that the children stay on track and the candy and treats were carefully selected so like our college there is something for everyone,” said Angie Hayden, with Wor-Wic Community College.

The event will be held on Thursday from 5:30 P.M. to 7 P.M. rain or shine.
