Housing First SBY taking donations to support homeless community

SALISBURY, Md. – In Salisbury, Housing First is looking for donations.

47 ABC spoke with the organization who says most of the local shelters are filled to capacity. That means more people are staying out in the streets.

But in order to survive they need a few items to better support themselves, that includes items like solar charging boxes, just to make a simple phone call.

Housing First Salisbury says they need your help to better support the homeless community. “There are a lot of people who are in need of tents. Going along with the tents, things like bug spray, things that you would want if you were to go camping, because this tent is their home. Bugs spray, sunblock, we’re always looking for water bottles especially in the heat,” said Amber Eure with Housing First Salisbury
