Cambridge police highlight Battle of the Blues event to help fund Dorchester County FOP

DORCHESTER COUNTY, Md – Cambridge Police announcing the Battle of the Blues fundraiser hoping to raise money for the Dorchester County Fraternal Order of Police.

The event will feature 12 teams competing through a shooting range course to see which team has the best marksmanship, with the money raised from participating helping the local FOP.

“Sergeant Howard, who is a member of our local Fraternal Order of Police Lodge, came up with the event and thought it was a good way to raise money and also show camaraderie between law enforcement agencies and the community and just make it a fun day of raising money, supporting your Fraternal Order of Police,” Cheif Justin Todd said.

The event is scheduled for October 7th, and Chief Todd tells 47ABC they have already filled 8 of the 12 teams as part of the event.
