Professional Pickleball players lead clinic in Bethany Beach, promote growth of the sport

Pro Pickleball Players Teaching Residents

BETHANY BEACH, Del. – Professional Pickleball Players made their way to Sea Colony Tennis Center in Bethany Beach, helping local players up their game and playing an exhibition match against staff members.

The sport is one of the fastest growing in the nation with Sea Colony saying they now see more people coming in, looking to rent out and play pickleball compared to tennis.

Pro PickleBall Pros James Ignatowich and Anna Bright offered multiple clinics on the sport, helping players of all ages and fitness levels improve their game.

“I feel like I’m at like the start-up of like some huge company, you can be older and you can go play for one practice and it’s going to be fun because it’s so easy. It’s way easier. So I think I think that’s the biggest thing, just getting so many different people to just try it one time and we’re going to get people that stick with it,” Ignatowich said.

Sea Colony Tennis says they were glad to see the top talent visit their facility with the hopes to host a charity pickleball tournament early next week.
