UPDATE: Missing Delmar woman located

7/10 UPDATE: Delaware State Police say 53-year-old Helga Melvin has been found.

DELMAR, Del. -Delaware State Police Troop 5 is issuing a Gold Alert for 53-year-old Helga Melvin of Delmar, Delaware. Helga was last known to be in the Delmar area on June 30, 2023. Attempts to contact or locate Helga have been unsuccessful, and there is a concern for her safety and well-being.

Helga is described as a white female, approximately 5’05” tall, weighing approximately 240 pounds, with black hair. She was last known to be wearing a pink/red shirt, black pants, and sneakers.
