Dewey Beach consideres ordinance to ban beach off-roading
DEWEY BEACH, Del. – Off-road enthusiasts might soon be out of luck- if they want to take their favorite four-by-four out in Dewey Beach.
The town of Dewey Beach is considering an ordinance that would ban any non-town affiliated vehicles from being able to go out onto the beaches.
This would reverse the current ordinance that has a ban in effect only for the summer season.
A vote is scheduled to take place tomorrow by town commissioners on the decision to have that total ban.
If approved- the measure will immediately go into effect
