Wellness walk and health fair happening in Snow Hill

SNOW HILL, Md. – In Snow Hill, residents, and community organizations came together to learn more about their health.

It was part of the Worcester Wellness Walk and Health Fair. The event was free and open to all in the community. Residents received health swag,  massages, prizes, and were able to get their health screenings done.

47 ABC spoke with the program manager who says this was a good way to get the community involved in their health. “It’s a good opportunity for the community to come out and learn about healthy resources, healthy organizations, that promote health, wellness and fitness just overall health in the community. It’s a great event it’s just camaraderie for the entire community to come out,” said Derek Jarmon.

The event wrapped up Wednesday afternoon around 2 P.M.
