Voter education guide available ahead of DE school board election
DELAWARE – With the low voter turnout, the ACLU of Delaware is providing the tools you need to get more involved with Delaware school board elections.
The Delaware voting rights coalition launched this campaign to provide a voter guide. It will be filled with candidate information and options available for voters along with key issues surrounding the school board. For candidates, you can also create a profile so constituents can learn more about your platform.
The ACLU says this will help the community as a whole “These local elections are so important because what is decided there almost has a greater impact on your day to day to life than those federal elections. We want to make sure that these school board elections, people really know what’s happening,” Helen Salita, Campaign Manager with the ACLU said.
