SELBYVILLE, Del. – Two Maryland men are facing charges after police say they tried to buy drugs with a fraudulent prescription at a Selbyville pharmacy.

On May 28th, Delaware State Police responded to the CVS pharmacy located at 36252 Lighthouse Road regarding a forged prescription. The pharmacist contacted police when they discovered that a prescription for Oxycodone pills had been filed using a computer program stolen from a New Jersey doctor’s office.

When the trooper arrived, they observed 23-year-old Micah Lee of Silver Spring, Md. inside the store, attempting to pick up the prescription. Lee reportedly ran out of the building when he saw the trooper, and got into a white Dodge Charger, being driven by 21-year-old Bashir Abukar of Bowie, Md.

Abukar and Lee then attempted to speed away, but the vehicle hit a ditch on Bayard Road. Police were then able to take the two men into custody.
