Cape takes down Sussex Tech to remain undefeated

LEWES, Del.– Cape Henlopen defeated Sussex Tech in a final score of 7-2 on Tuesday afternoon.

The Vikings would be the ones to get on the scoreboard first as Cape would plate 3 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning. The Ravens would respond right back with an infield RBI single to make it 3-1.

It would be battle of the defenses until the top of the 5th, Sussex Tech would get a run off of a sacrifice fly to center-field to make it a 1 run game.

Isaac Terhune for Cape would start to break it open as he would get an RBI to make it 4-2 in the bottom of the 5th. The bottom half of the 6th would be the moment where the Vikings began to pull away from Tech as Cape would plate 3 runs to make it 7-2.

Cape improves to 4-0 on the season and Sussex Tech improves to 4-1.
