1 dead in Rehoboth Beach shooting

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del., – The Rehoboth Beach Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that left one dead and one in the hospital Saturday afternoon.

Rehoboth Beach Police say they responded to calls of shots fired in the Christian Street and Bayard Avenue area. Police tell 47 ABC that one person is dead as a result of the incident and another was removed from the scene and treated at a nearby hospital.

Police say there is no threat to the public and more details will be released after the next of kin has been notified.
