New traffic pattern in place at Route 13 and Isabella Street
SALISBURY, Md. – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration has announced a new traffic pattern for Route 13 Business at Isabella Street.
Motorists traveling north and south on Route 13 will once again be able to make left turns onto Isabella Street. A “right turn only” traffic movement was placed into effect at this intersection last month after a crash destroyed the traffic signal. A new traffic signal is being designed by the State Highway Office of Traffic and Safety and will be installed as soon as possible.
Temporary stop signs and cones have been installed to guide motorists through the intersection. Crews will continue to monitor the area to ensure all traffic control devices are functioning properly.
