New restaurant provides unique communal dining in Milford, push to expand downtown offerings

MILFORD, Del. – Owners of a popular distillery in Milford are now setting their eyes on a new venture, bringing a unique dining experience to downtown.

It’s called Fondue, offering communal dining in courses that include your choice of cheese, an entree, and a chocolate.

Owner Zach King tells us they bought the space in Penny Square 2 years ago with a goal of revitalizing downtown and bringing something different to the area.

King adds that the new space not only expands their entrepreneurial footprint but will hopefully drive more traffic into town. “We have invested heavily in Milford and only in Milford. We don’t have investments or businesses outside of the area,” King said.

“This type of business is to bring people to town to see the retail stores, see other restaurants, to see our distillery Easy Speak, and to see everything else Milford has to offer and to help the town grow.”

Fondue has a grand opening slated for March 23rd.
