Decatur shuts out the Wildcats to start season 1-0

BERLIN, Md.– The Decatur Seahawks defeated Delmar in a final score of 2-0 on Tuesday night.

Decatur would not take long to strike as they drove in a run in the bottom of the 1st inning. It would be a pitchers duel between the Seahawks and the Wildcats until the bottom of the 4th.

Ryder Swanson would pop one up to second to get a sacrifice fly RBI to make it 2-0 Decatur. Delmar would leave runners stranded in the later innings and would not be able to get any type of offense going. Aj Kolb would strike out the side in the top of the 7th to secure the win for Decatur
